2. Eligibility

To be eligible to enter and win the prize draw, you must:

• Be a resident of the United Kingdom
• Be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
• Have a valid email address
• Have confirmed your email subscription via double opt-in

3. How to Enter

Entry to the prize draw is automatic for all eligible subscribers. You can enter by:

1. Website Signup: Complete the email signup form at www.the-windmill.co.uk
2. QR Code: Scan QR codes displayed in The Windmill Inn venue
3. In-Venue Tablet: Sign up using the tablet available at the bar
4. Staff Assisted: Provide your details to a staff member for manual entry

Important: You must confirm your email address via the confirmation link sent to you. Only confirmed subscribers are entered into the monthly draw.

4. Prize Details

4.1 What You Win

The monthly prize consists of:

• Four (4) Free Carvery Meals for the winner and up to three (3) guests
• All four meals must be consumed in a single visit
• Prize covers food only; drinks are not included
• Prize value: Up to £60 (based on standard carvery pricing)

4.2 Prize Conditions

• No cash alternative is available
• Prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged
• Prize must be booked in advance and is subject to availability
• Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount
• Special dietary requirements can be accommodated where possible (please notify staff when booking)

4.3 Blackout Dates

The prize cannot be redeemed on the following dates:

• Christmas Day (December 25th)
• Boxing Day (December 26th)
• New Year's Day (January 1st)
• Valentine's Day (February 14th)
• Mother's Day (UK - varies annually)
• Easter Sunday (varies annually)
• Any other dates as notified to the winner at time of winning

5. Winner Selection

5.1 Draw Schedule

The prize draw takes place monthly:

• Draw Date: 1st of each month at 10:00 AM GMT
• If the 1st falls on a Sunday, the draw will take place on the following Monday
• All confirmed subscribers as of 11:59 PM on the last day of the previous month are eligible

5.2 Selection Method

• Winners are selected by a secure, random computerized selection process
• The selection uses the Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm to ensure fairness
• Four (4) winners are selected: One primary winner and three backup winners
• All selections are logged for audit purposes with timestamp and eligible subscriber count

5.3 Notification

The primary winner will be notified within 24 hours of the draw by:

• Email to the address used for entry
• A unique winner code in the format: WM-YYYY-MM-XXXX

6. Claiming Your Prize

6.1 Claim Window

• Winners must respond to the notification email within 7 days
• Failure to respond within 7 days will result in forfeiture of the prize
• If the primary winner does not respond, the first backup winner will be notified
• This process continues through all backup winners if necessary

6.2 Booking Your Visit

Once you have claimed your prize:

1. Contact The Windmill Inn to book your carvery visit
2. Provide your unique winner code when booking
3. Choose a date that is not a blackout date
4. Your booking must be within 3 months of the draw date

6.3 Redemption

On the day of your visit:

• Arrive at your booked time
• Provide your winner code to staff
• Show ID to verify your identity (name must match the winner record)
• Enjoy your free carvery for four!

6.4 Prize Expiry

By entering this prize draw, you consent to:

• Being added to The Windmill Inn mailing list
• Receiving marketing emails about offers, events, and news
• Your entry data being stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR
• Your name being announced as a winner (with your permission)

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.

8. Publicity

Winners may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity, which may include:

• Name announcement in monthly newsletter
• Photo with their meal (optional)
• Social media post (with permission)

You have the right to decline publicity. Declining publicity will not affect your ability to claim or use your prize.

9. General Conditions

9.1 Organizer's Rights

The Windmill Inn reserves the right to:

• Verify the eligibility of all entrants and winners
• Disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms
• Cancel, modify, or suspend the prize draw if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary
• Substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary

9.2 Limitation of Liability

• The Windmill Inn accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in transmission
• We are not responsible for technical failures that may affect entry or notification
• Winners participate in the prize at their own risk
• The Windmill Inn's liability is limited to providing the stated prize only

9.3 Disputes

• The Organizer's decision on all matters relating to the prize draw is final
• No correspondence will be entered into regarding the draw results
• Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales

9.4 Fraud

Any attempt to:

• Use multiple email addresses to gain additional entries
• Manipulate the entry or selection process
• Fraudulently claim a prize

Will result in immediate disqualification and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
